It was the Gobblers turn this week, he told me that he wanted to go back to basics, he thought we had forgotten about the classic and were too busy thinking of extravagant constructions. I think he was right as this burger was ‘WILL SMITH BAD ASS’. This burg in my opinion would of easily been the winning apart from the fact that it took 3 people 3 hrs to cook. It was a logistics nightmare. It also was a grease bath, me and blind-man-buff has to go on a 8 mile cycle into town and then rock out to Andrew W.K. All night to work it off.

Hung, Drawn and Slaughtered exhibition at Glue is under way, the first months theme was draw a caricature of someone else in the office. I did Head of Design Dan Griffiths. Started it Drunk on thursday night with almost no direction, but i think it turned out pretty zesty.

Chris Gove, AKA Telegramme, AKA Govaries, AKA blind. Knocked up these double mediterranean burgers AKA ‘Twin Greeks’. All ready appealing to my love of puns the taste matched the smashing word play. The twin Greeks also opened up the discussion that do all burgers now need puns, conclusion no. but due to the almost perfection trying to be reach each time puns seem to be a necessary tool in the already weighty arsenal. JameJame has taken burger night to a whole new level, taking inspiration for Heston Blumenthal he created a piece of food theater. the burgers even had fuses leading to a pepper stuffed with and explosion of chicken tikka flavors.
